Sorry, guys, this is not a local photo, but after the first week of official play in the Kiwanis - Prison Brews Bocce League, proprietor Deb Brown thinks it's a success. They maxed out with 24 teams and a summer league is already on the horizon.
I caught Deb Wednesday night as the teams were getting ready.
All proceeds go to local youth programs via our own Kiwanis Club. Members Mike Ryno and David Griffith contribute all the energy. Circuit Judge Richard Callahan provides wisdom based on years of Bocce on the Hill in St. Louis. He will also rule on any disputed calls or dress code violations.
