Mayor's Social Media Video Could Go Viral

Public Access Station JCTV was brave enough to pick this gripping expose about social media performed solo by yours truly with production and special effects by Peggy. Actually it won SECOND PLACE in the film festival. (Not telling how many entries there were.)

If you're just sitting around with nothing to do for about ten minutes check it out. 

Chamber Video Contest Draws Rogue Commentary

As part of its strategic planning process the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce opened the Shape Your Future, Share Your Dream video contest. The October 29 deadline is fast approaching, so if you're under 40, check out the rules and get creative.

We obtained a sneak preview of one entry. The ideas are a little half-baked, but you have to admire his spunk.

 

           

Readers' Theatre at Library Presents Two Classics

Come to the Library Friday, October 2 and Saturday,  October 3 at 7:30pm, for the classics “War of the Worlds” and “The Lost World”  as a Readers’ Theatre Production. Mark Wegman is returning as the director. Tickets are $10.00 each (for ages 10 and  up) – at the library. The night will open with an “eyewitness report” of an  invasion from Mars; a run through of the Mercury Theatre’s radio production of  “War of the Worlds”. Following that will be John De Lancie and Nat Segaloff’s  humorous take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Lost World”. You can reserve  tickets or get more information by calling 634-6064 ext. 239.
