John, as you know, I live in Minneapolis, a city with lots of regulations and its own Civil Rights department. It has a pride parade and festival which annually draw upwards of 300,000 folks. The Interstate Bridge over the Mississippi River has rainbow colors displayed during Pridefest. Though I have yet to wear my rainbow bowtie or suspenders during my 40 odd visits to Jeff City, I've never sensed any discrimination there. I agree that the Star's article unfairly rated Jeff City. And I'm proud to call you my brother in law.
