I was visting my 96 year old mom today at the hospital. She's doing ok. Might go home soon.
She is an avid reader and follows lots of local and national issues. She was insistant that I get her an absentee ballot so she could vote YES for transformation.
She said "If we don't fix the old penitentiary site it will be an embarassment to Jefferson City."
I looked over at a sticker hanging by her chart.
